The Lagrange Prize – CRT Foundation Edition 2026 has been awarded to Professor Dashun Wang, Kellogg Chair of Technology and Founding Director of the Center for Science of Science and Innovation at Northwestern University, in recognition of his pioneering contributions to the science of science.
His work uses complexity science and Artificial Intelligence to explore how ideas emerge, discoveries take shape, and collaboration and funding influence scientific progress.
