The main aim of the unit would revolve around three main axis: Information Technology and infrastructure networks; Biological and Ecological networks; Social and behavioural Networks.
Along with the more theoretical and basic questions of network science, applications and studies of more immediate application can be envisioned in the use of network science in the evaluation and assessment of physical properties of networked systems.
