The Workshop will be held at the Le Grand Hotel Courmaison  (Route Mont Blanc - Frazione Pallesieux) in Pré-Saint-Didier, close to Courmayeur (Aosta), Italy. The Courmaison complex is located in the Valdigne Valley, an area overlooking Monte Bianco mountain. The complex, which is just up the Pallesieux village, offers a spectacular view of the whole mountain-chain. In about 20 minutes on foot, through the Verrand village, one can reach Courmayeur, which is one of the well known winter touristic resorts in Italy.

Valle d'Aosta is served by three international airports, which provide links to the international destinations worldwide, directly or through various European hubs: Turin Airport,  Milan Malpensa Airport,  Genève Airport.

HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE VENUE:

By car:  
It  is possible to reach Pré Saint Didier with the new extension of the motorway A5 which permit to arrive here in approximately one hour from Turin , one hour and an half from Milan and two hours from Genève. The village of Pallesieux is only two kilometres from Prè Saint Didier.

By plane:

• Bus + Bus: Every forty-five minutes, there is a bus directed to the city center of Turin (timetable: http://www.sadem.it/upload/orari/estivi/000027.pdf ), drop-off at the terminal bus station (last stop) in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 131. From the same terminal take the bus service Savda (timetable: http://www.savda.it/en/#) to reach the venue in Pallesieux. The bus in Pallesieux stop is 100 metres from the Grand Hotel Courmaison. A walk of a couple of minutes (direction "Courmayeur") will take you in sight of the Hotel. Here is a map of the area surrounding the Hotel. In this map, the bus stop on the statal road (in yellow) is in correspondance of the letter X of the "Champex" village. It's 100 meters from the biforcation leading to the Hotel. 

• Bus + Train: Every forty-five minutes, there is a bus directed to the city center of Turin (timetable: http://www.sadem.it/upload/orari/estivi/000027.pdf), drop-off at the the PORTA SUSA train station (previous last stop). From here you can take the train to Prè Saint Didier which is the closest train station to the venue (about two kilometres). To go from Pré Saint Didier to the Grand Hotel Courmaison, the Hotel will send a private shuttle upon phone call on the spot.

•  Train + Train: There is a train connecting Milano Malpensa airport to the Milano Central train station (timetable: http://www.malpensaexpress.it/orari_e_news/post.php) . From Milano Central Train Station you can take a train to Prè Saint Didier which is the closest train station to the venue. To go from Pré Saint Didier to the Grand Hotel Courmaison, the Hotel will send a private shuttle upon phone call on the spot.
